@article{Yemchura_2018, title={Actualized Lexicon in Czech: Functional Aspect}, url={https://sjnpu.com.ua/index.php/journal/article/view/112}, abstractNote={<p>The article discusses the innovation processes in modern Czech based on actualized lexemes, which primarily update the political, economic and social vocabularies. In the 90’s of the 20th century and at the beginning of 21st century, some concepts from these spheres moved from the periphery to the center of the public life. Therefore, the lexical units that named those concepts and were on the periphery of the language system during the socialistic period now become more broadly used. Actualized lexical units have not been a subject of a separate research in the Czech linguistics. The problem of their study in terms of the functional aspect is particularly topical. Special attention is given to the words and phrases that either had some indications of stylistic restrictions (in the dictionaries issued before 1989), or altered their meaning or were established in the legislation. Based on the Czech national corpus and modern periodicals it has been shown that actualized lexemes increased their functional significance and word-forming potential, and became frequently used in the modern Czech language.</p&gt;}, number={16}, journal={Scientific Journal of National Pedagogical Dragomanov University.
